Program Impact Report: 2022 – 2025

This report documents the successful execution and transformative impact of our SiyaCode, KasiCoders, and CodeNxT initiatives from 2022 to 2025. EaziCode is dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing free coding education, specifically focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and web development skills, to previously disadvantaged high school students in Gauteng.

SiyaCode Camps (The Exposure Model: 2022-2023)

The SiyaCode code camps delivered our initial outreach, high-level exposure model.

  • Structure: Single-day sessions, typically lasting 5 hours
  • Core Goal: To provide initial, broad exposure to coding education and address the immediate resource gap
  • Content Focus: Foundational concepts like Web Design Theory and HTML basics

KasiCoders Programmes (The Deep Dive Model: 2024)

KasiCoders code camps marked a critical evolution to a sustained, intensive learning model.

  • Structure: Multi-day programs (5 or 6 Saturdays), with sessions lasting 4 hours each
  • Core Goal: To elevate student expertise through sustained engagement and project-based learning
  • Content Focus: Introduction to Advanced Web Development

Programme Impact (2025)

The year 2025 marked a crucial inflection point in EaziCode's growth and legitimacy, highlighted by the successful launch of the CodeNxT In-Person Program in collaboration with the government. This milestone was achieved through a strategic partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE) Southern Region, which played a vital role in liaising with and securing UJ Academy (UJA) as the ideal venue and partner for sourcing students.
